I feel so weird, not putting on paint stained work clothes.

It's weird, buttoning a nice Chinese necked shirt over the welding burn on my chest, sliding soft olive sleeves over the dark smears of paint that covers my forearms, putting neat black pants over my lower legs that are splotchy with grass green and beige, and pulling socks onto feet that barely retain their own colour.

And being neat and presentable once again.

Except for the smear of dark wainscotting brown on my neck.

Just ignore that.
