What's happening currently in the story:

Manie, having been whisked away from his decrepid life in the sprawling Capatis City, has joined a band of travellers on a hushed political mission.

With them is Miss Lily and her train of guards and dowry wagons. Lily is petite fourteen year old bride-to-be who has taken Manie on as a man servant so as he can earn his keep.

It's the third day of travelling, and Lily and Manie tentitavely become closer as friends.

What'll happen next? Only time will tell. And maybe you,too.
