The cue to cue went well tonight. As well as was expected, anyway.

John, one of the actors, popped his second balloon much to our collective (and silent) horror.

He glanced offstage with shame after he popped it and shuffled over to us and offered us the carcass of the balloon.

I took it and told him I'd give it a proper burial, and put it in my pocket while he got himself another balloon.

Steph, the tech who had to blow up all the balloons, twitched and told him she'd give him a slow and painful death if he dared to harm another of her precious balloons.

It was pretty funny.

Matt, the acter who plays the reverand, dislocated his thumb and had to go to the hospital.

When he came back, he was floating about three feet off the floor with drugs.

But all went well.

He was just more mellow than usual.
