After we'd finished our first game of pool:

A pause.

"When's your birthday?"

"Why?"

A bit of joking back and forth.

"No, but seriously, it's October 11th."

He laughed and lifted his glass to me.

"How'd I guess you were a Libra? Here, cheers."

We clinked and drank.

"I'm guessing you're a Libra too?" Said I after a pause.

"Yeah."

"When's your birthday?"

"October 17th."

Haha. Although I tend not to believe in zodiacs much, they're fun to read about, and I *had* noticed that Loren was unusually balanced (a characteristic of Libras).
